For Teams

3

As an Engineering Leader, would you like to enable your teams to deliver quality software faster with TDD? You’ve come to the right place. Based on my experiences coaching teams worldwide, I’ve created the TDD in Legacy Code series to help teams adopt TDD.

How to help your teams?

Step 1. Get team access. As part of your Learning & Development Budget, you can purchase a subscription for your team (with a discount):

Get team access

Step 2. Allocate practice time. You might use decide to give some time for your team (e.g. Learning Days, Learning Hours, etc.) so that they can do the Homework Tasks in the articles. As they do the homework tasks, I will review their projects and give them feedback. They can also ask me any questions.

Step 3. Arrange knowledge sharing sessions. Schedule some time (e.g. 1hr weekly) whereby your team can share the sandbox project they’ve built within their team and across teams.

Step 4. Start applying in real-life projects. You can incrementally adopt TDD using the TDD in the Legacy Code series whilst still continuing feature delivery. As your team adopts it step-by-step, if they face a challenge at some step, they can ask me a question in the comments of that article; I’ll be happy to support them.

How to expense the subscription?

As part of your company’s Learning & Development Budget, you can expense the subscription for your teams by downloading the invoice.

How to work under NDA?

In the above, your team is building an open source sandbox project (it’s a simple project, like a TODO app, or reservations app, etc. unrelated to the domain of your real-life project).

However, if you want to work with me under NDA (e.g. you want to to implement an internal sandbox project, and you want me to work as Technical Coach for your team to adopt TDD in real-life projects), then book a call with me regarding team coaching.
