Yes, I really enjoy live sessions. I had positive experiences on YouTube (with live chat) so looking forward to continuing here!

To help those who hadn't yet created a sandbox project, we created one during the live sessions.

Could you elaborate further on that idea...

Absolutely! We could define a common and well-known domain like task management and create a sandbox project for it. People could then clone this project later to add specific tech requirements like blob storage, a message broker, and others

My understanding is, building a remote team, so that instead of just working individually, multiple people could build a sandbox project together, and then it would also take less time per person.

Currently, I do have companies who are subscribed to Optivem Journal (group subscriptjons) who’s teams are working on building the sandbox project, which did lead to higher pace progress compared to individuals… due to lot of time involved.

So your idea is a new one, it’s the idea of build a remote team of people who might be around the world.

What is your idea of that remote team and the live sessions, do you see them as doing live programming together during the live sessions, or as presenting work on the shared project, or something else?

Live programming and presentations are both effective for me. I understand that some subscribers may not have started the project yet, while others have begun and have specific questions.

Thanks Vinny!

Regarding subscribers who didn’t start yet, the ones making progress are the teams where they got Engineering Manager’s approval for a group subscription, since to complete the Sandbox Project for Pipeline & ATDD sections, it takes ~ 1 month for whole dedicated team working on the Sandbox… So I guess that’s the main reason why the programming of the sandbox projects is currently offline, due to the time needed (~ 1 month = 160 hours, that’s a rough timeline, of course, it differs from team to team)… but anyway that’s why it’s offline

“while others have begun and have specific questions” - those are good candidates for live sessions, so I’d be available then to answer those questions…
